Misty Colvey has served as the Head Athletic Trainer at WBU since 2006.  Over the years, she has demonstrated remarkable skill and dedication in overseeing the healthcare needs of the university’s 17 different sports programs.

Colvey was named the American Midwest Conference Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2023, in recognition of her exceptional qualities and achievements that have made her a role model for her peers and an invaluable asset to the athletic community.

Colvey earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and master's degree in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University.

She also acts as an Adjunct Instructor of Physical Education at WBU.
