WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams men's soccer team defeated the Freed-Hardeman Lions 1-0 on Tuesday night.
Fernando Paya gave the Eagles the lead in the 8th minute when he fired home a shot past the Lions' goalkeeper. It was mostly a defensive game the rest of the way, with both sides only getting off a handful of shots. The Eagles finished with five shots and two on goal.
Alejandro Perez played the full game in the goal for the Eagles and he had three saves off three shots on goal.
