
21 WBU Spring Athletes Earn Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (4/23/25) – Twenty-one Williams Baptist University spring sport athletes were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the NAIA national office announced on Wednesday.
The award is designed to recognize athletes who excel on the field of play and in the classroom. To qualify, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
WBU softball led the way, landing 10 athletes on the list. Baseball followed with seven, women's track & field placed three, and women's golf had one.
