New WBU Student-Athlete Checklist

All NAIA Athletes are required to not only be fully accepted by their NAIA institution but must be cleared through the NAIA Eligibility Center prior to their first season of NAIA competition.

Many of the same documents required for acceptance to WBU, such as transcripts, are required to be sent to the Eligibility Center. The most convenient way for an athlete to complete both processes is to request these documents to be sent to the two locations at the same time so as to not have to repeat processes.

Steps to become an Eagle or Lady Eagle Student-Athlete:

  • Complete your WBU Online Application here: https://williamsbu.edu/apply/
  • Register with the NAIA Eligibility Center by visiting www.playnaia.org/eligibility-center
    • Students will fill out a profile to provide their athletic history
    • A fee is also required to complete your registration
    • $90.00 for US and Canadian students enrolling full-time at an NAIA school in the first full term following high school graduation
    • $135.00 for US and Canadian college transfer students, current NAIA attendees, or students with more than a summer break after high school graduation
    • US$150.00 for international students
  • Send an official copy of your transcripts to both WBU and the NAIA Eligibility Center. All transcripts must be sent directly from the high school and college you attended.
  • High School transcripts should include your high school graduation year, class rank, and cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • College transcripts should be sent from all institutions attended and include all semesters attended
