O'FALLON, Mo. (4/30/23) – The Williams Baptist University baseball team fell in the quarterfinal round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament to Missouri Baptist by the final score of 12-2.

MBU jumped on the Eagles pitching early, plating four runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Williams was held scoreless until the top of the sixth inning when Seth Jones drove in Lawson Aaron on a single to left field.

Skylar Morrison went yard in the top of the seventh for the Eagles second run of the ballgame, but WBU was unable to keep MBU off the board, falling 12-2 in eight innings.
