Koczka Named AMC Pitcher of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (3/24/25) – Williams Baptist University baseball right-hander Nash Koczka was named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for his performance on the mound in week eight of the season.

Koczka led the way in game three of WBU's four game set with Hannibal-LaGrange this past weekend, tossing six innings with 10 strikeouts in a 13-2 victory over the Trojans.

The Southaven, Miss. native currently leads the AMC with 62 strikeouts on the season and sits tied for the third most wins in the league with five.

Koczka and the Eagles will return to the diamond for a midweek doubleheader against Maranatha Baptist on Wednesday, Mar. 26.  First pitch against the Warriors is set for 1 p.m. from Shell Field.
