Cheer Places Third at Battle of Big Easy

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Williams competitive cheerleading squad finished in third place out of eight teams at the Battle of the Big Easy. They also defeated Dillard University in a dual meet while they were in New Orleans.

In the multi-team competition, the teams performed once and the Eagles earned a final score of 69.7, behind first place Xavier and second place Loyola (N.O.).

In the dual competition, Williams defeated Dillard University by a final score of 64.48 to 50.13.
