Eagles Dominate Tigers in Season Opener

The Eagles quickly built up a lead over the Tigers, leading 32-11 eight minutes into the game. It was never really close game outside of the first few opening minutes.

Head Coach Josh Austin made good use of his subs, constantly subbing players in and out, to tinker with different lineups in preparation for this season.

The Eagles shot 50.6% from the field (42-83), 34.6% from the three-point line (9-26), and 73.7% from the free-throw line (14-19).

Four Eagles finished in double digits, with Franklyn Petion leading the team with 20 points off the bench. Cortez King had 13 points, Tyreon Hardin had 11, and Rajhon McIntosh contributed 10 off the bench as well.

McIntosh led the team on the boards with seven, while Shackeel Butters had five.
