It was a back-and-forth first half that saw the Mustangs go up 29-20 with 4:31 left in the half, but the Eagles scratched their way back to tie the game at 31 going into halftime. The Mustangs came out and took the lead in the second half and the Eagles were never able to catch back up.
The Eagles shot 36.5% from the field (27-74), 23.1% from the three-point line (6-26), and 53.3% from the free-throw line (8-15).
Tyreon "Duke" Hardin led the team with 14 pts, while Shackeel Butters had 13.
Cortez King led the team on the board with 7.
