Eagles Defeated By Spartans

It was a slow start for the Eagles that saw them down 19-4 halfway through the first half, but they mustered a run of their own and cut the lead down to two points with five minutes left in the half. The Spartans pushed the lead back out to 11 and went into halftime leading 46-35.  The Spartans kept Williams at arms-length in the second half, never letting them any closer than nine points.

Williams shot 45% from the field (27-60), 36% from the three-point arc (7-19), and 52.6% from the free-throw line (10-19).

Cortez King led all scorers with 20 points. TJ Clardy finished with 15 points and Tyreon Hardin had 10.

King and Clardy led the team on the boards with nine each.
