ST. LOUIS, Mo. (1/20/24) - The Williams Baptist University men's basketball team eclipsed 100 points for the second time this season in Saturday's 106-81 win over the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.

Ben Keton led the way in scoring putting up 23 points in the contest. T.J. Clardy and Duke Hardin followed close behind putting up 22 each as well.  Clardy tied for the team lead with Ashton Young as they both grabbed nine boards.

UHSP took the lead early in the game by hitting three straight three-pointers to take a 13-8 lead through the first three minutes. DJ Townsend's three put the Eagles up 14-13, but the shootout would continue until WBU rattled off an 8-0 run capped off with a Rico Quinton layup with 11:59 left in the first half.

UHSP brought the game within five points with a Jas Suvalija three, but Williams would catch fire with a 14-2 run to go into halftime up 52-36.

The Eagles continued shooting the ball well in the second half, hitting 56.1 percent of shots as a team.  Cory Sanders would make a layup with 2:38 left in the ball game to push the Eagles over 100 points for the second game this season.

The win moves the Eagles to 10-6 overall on the year, and 2-3 in AMC play.
