Parr Named AMC Golfer of the Week

Williams Baptist University junior golfer Tyler Parr has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week after claiming medalist honors at the Lyon College Invitational Tournament.

Parr carded back-to-back rounds under par to finish the tournament at five-under-par 139 (68-71) to finish four strokes ahead of his closest competitor. He led wire-to-wire in the tournament and helped the Eagles finish in second place overall. 

WBU is set to compete in the Columbia Fall Invitational Oct. 2-3 in Columbia, Mo.
