WBU Men’s Golf Takes Third at CBC Invite
CABOT, Ark. (3/19/24) - The Williams Baptist men's golf team brought home a third-place in the Central Baptist College Invite played at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Ark., with a two-day tournament total of 919 (+55).
The Eagles finished behind first-place finishers the University of Science and Arts at Oklahoma who had a tournament best 890 (+10) and second-place Central Baptist's score of 904 (+40).
Tyler Parr led the way for WBU with a 10th place with a three-round total of 225 (+9), while Thibau DeLange was tied for 15th with a score of 228 (+12). Quinn Crosskno moved up three spots in the final round to finish in 25th with a total of 235 (+19), while teammate Curren Bounds carded a three-round total of 236 (+20). Dawson McMahan had a score of 237 (+21) to finish tied for 27th.
In the women's tournament Kendra Harness moved up five spots in the final round to finish in a tie for 10th with a two-round total of 165 (+21), while Leslie Hill was 22nd with a score of 184 (+40). Grace Woody rounded out the tournament by finishing in 35th with a tournament score of 219 (+75).
