Eagles Compete in CBC Fall Invite
MAUMELLE, Ark. (10/8/24) – The Williams Baptist University men's golf team placed three in the top 15 of the CBC Fall Invite this week in Maumelle, Ark. hosted by Central Baptist College.
Tyler Parr paced the squad with a three-round total of 229 and a sixth place finish. Elijah Wilkes finished with a 236 over his three rounds, good for a 10th place finish. Curren Bounds finished in a three way tie for 15th, with a 242 over 36 holes.
Dawson McMahan shot 247 over three rounds, highlighted by a 76 in his first trip around the links. Kaleb McClain rounded out the team with a 22nd place finish with a 253 total in his three rounds.
Landon McBride competed as WBU's lone individual, finishing with a total of 254 for a 23rd place finish.
Next, the Eagles will travel to Columbia, Mo. to finish the fall season in the Columbia College Fall Invitational. The tournament is set to begin on Monday, Oct. 28 and conclude on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
