WBU Golf Opens Spring Season at Evangel Spring Invite
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (3/13/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's and women's golf teams began their spring seasons in the Evangel Spring Invite in Springfield, Mo. earlier this week.
The men's team finished fourth out of nine teams in the event with a stroke total of 968.
Tyler Parr led the team with a ninth place individual finish on a three-round total of 230. Parr jumped eight spots in the standings after posting a 72 in his third round of play.
Curren Bounds followed up with a 14th place individual finish on a three-round total of 235.
Kaleb McClain and Elijah Wilkes finished tied for 32nd with a 252 total score, and Carrington Reid rounded out the squad with a total of 267 and a 41st place finish.
The women's golf team finished fourth out of six teams on a 863 stroke total.
Kendra Harness led the Lady Eagles with a two-round total of 166, tying for a fourth place individual finish. Grace Woody finished tied for 12th with a total of 186 in her two rounds.
Dreama Morrow finished 25th and Kelby Smith finished 26th in the event.
