
Eagles Golf Battles in UHSP Spring Invite
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (4/9/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's and women's golf teams both took part in the UHSP Spring Invite this week, hosted by the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.
Tyler Parr led the way for the Eagles on the men's side with a two-round total of 150. Parr climbed 12 spots on the second day with a score of 72 in his final round to finish tied for 14th place.
Kaleb McClain finished tied for 24th place in the individual leaderboard with a two round total of 154. Curren Bounds climbed 14 spots after shooting a 72 on day two to finish tied for 32nd, and Ian Winward finished 37th with a total of 160. Carrington Reid rounded out the team with a two-round total of 163.
As a team, the WBU men finished 6th out of 10 teams in the tournament.
On the women's side, Kendra Harness and Grace Woody led the way for Williams. Harness carded a two-round total of 166 to finish in 11th, and Woody shot 167 to finish 12th.
Kelby Smith rounded out the squad with a 38th place finish in the event. The Lady Eagles did not post a team score.
Next, Williams golf will compete in its final tournament of the regular season in the MBU Spring Invitational hosted by Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Mo.
