HENDERSON, Tenn. (9/24/24) – Thanks to a second half goal from Mateus Ribeiro, the Williams Baptist University men's soccer team took down Freed-Hardeman on the road on Tuesday night by the final score of 1-0.
The Lions looked threatening on offense in the first half, out-shooting the Eagles 9-2, with three on goal that were all saved.
Mateus Ribeiro had the first shot on goal for Williams, but it was saved by the Lions keeper to send the match scoreless into the locker room after the first 45 minutes.
