Eagles Track & Field Sets New Highs at Snowbird Open

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (1/27/25) – Led by multiple career bests, the Williams Baptist University men's and women's indoor track and field teams kicked off the 2025 season at the Snowbird Open hosted by Illinois College over the weekend.

Tucker Coleman extended his school record in the men's weight throw with a 16.57m mark to finish second overall.

Alyssa Russell finished with a time of 11.24 in the women's 60m hurdles to set a new WBU school record.

Calista Christian also set a new career best with a 14.30m mark in the women's weight throw to finish fifth.

Aletta Jonker rounded out WBU's top performances with a fifth place finish in the women's 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:02.79.
