Eagles Wrestling Competes in Life Open

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (11/25/24) – The Williams Baptist University men's wrestling team traveled to Powder Springs, Ga. on Saturday to battle in the Life Open, hosted by Life University.

The event was highlighted by Jimmy Singleton for taking home his first collegiate win over Stephen Rosenberg from the University of Florida by pin in the second round.  Singleton finished 1-2 in the event.

Gatlin Taylor, Grayson Pennison, Ross Womack, Abram Fessenden, Micah Oltmanns, Noel Mejia, Ian Halfacre, and Peyton Holland all went 0-2 in the open tournament.

The Eagles will be return to the mat on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Ozark Quad Dual in Clarksville, Ark.
