Eagles Finish Regular Season at Missouri Valley Open

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (2/3/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's wrestling program competed in one final tuneup meet before the AMC/SAC Tournament on Saturday in the Missouri Valley Open hosted by Missouri Valley College.

Noel Mejia picked up a first round win in the 125 bracket by fall over Sam Beltowski before falling in the second round.

Jimmy Singleton also picked up a win by fall in the loser's bracket of the 125.

Ross Womack also picked up a win in the 165 bracket via 8-6 decision over Mark Whalen.  Womack fell to the eventual champion in the second round of the tournament, then took a win over Missouri Baptist's Dean McMahen in the consolation bracket.

Williams will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 22 in Oklahoma City for the AMC/SAC Conference Championships to finish up the season.
