Eagles Compete at AMC Cross Country Championship

NEVADA, Mo. (11/3/23)  – The Williams Baptist University men's and women's cross country teams concluded their seasons by competing in the American Midwest Conference Cross Country Championships Friday morning.

The men's squad finished fifth overall with Nick Powell leading the surge with a time of 34:04.82 to finish 34th. Jason Detrick was close behind with a time of 35:02.25 (36th), followed by Abram Fessenden's 36:56.54 (38th) and Karlis Smith's 38:53.31 (39th). Logan Jackson finished 41st after running the course in 40:34.17 (41st), followed by Cody Carden in 42nd with a 40:35.18 and Ronald Hill's 45:11.58 (44th).

The women's team finished sixth overall and were paced by Mikey Larson's time of 25:26.01 in the 6k race. Kira Rogers ran the course in 31:30.57 (37th), while Kaedynce Miller completed the circuit in 36.53.25 (45th). Macie Noel was behind her with a time of 37:23.42 (46th), while Brittany Dowdy rounded the race times with a 42:07.65 (48th).
