
Williams Competes in SLU Billiken Invitational
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (9/21/24) – The Williams Baptist University men's and women's cross country teams took to the track Saturday morning to compete in the SLU Billiken Invitational in St. Louis, Mo.
Aletta Jonker led the way on the women's side, finishing with a time of 22:26 for a 17th place finish. Alyssa Russell finished with a time of 34:32, and Elizabeth Fowler finished on a pace of 49:28.
Keiten Nash paced the men's squad with a final time of 37:41. Bryan Williams came in 40th with a 43:44. Cody Carden finished with a 44:07, and Jason Detrick ended the race with a time of 47:21.
WBU cross country will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 12 in Hannibal, Mo. for the Trojan Invitational hosted by Hannibal-LaGrange.
