HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Williams softball team fell to the (4) Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions 3-0 in game one of the doubleheader and 8-0 in five innings for game two.
It was not a great day at the plate for the Lady Eagles as they only got one hit on the day, coming from Alyssa Cordell in the first inning of game two.
Tori Kierbach pitched game one and pitched 6.0 innings. She gave up three runs off eight hits and struck out two.
Sara Pruitt got the start for game two and pitched 2.0 innings, giving up five runs off seven hits and walked one. Cassidi Doyle pitched 2.0 innings of relief and gave up three runs off four hits, walked one and struck out one.
