Isaacs Named AMC Defensive Player of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (2/17/25) – For the third time this season, Williams Baptist University women's basketball's Kaylee Isaacs was named the American Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Isaacs collected 36 rebounds, 10 steals, and three blocks across a 3 win week for Williams as the team clinched a share of the AMC regular season title.

The Batesville, Ark. native posted three double-doubles in three opportunities.  She posted 35 points and 14 rebounds against Mission, 11 points and 10 rebounds against Central Baptist, and 12 points and 12 rebounds against Missouri Baptist.

WBU will return to the floor for the first of the final two games of the regular season on Thursday, Feb. 20 against Hannibal-LaGrange.  Tip-off against the Trojans is set for 5:30 p.m. from the Southerland-Mabee Center.
