Harness, Parr Lead the Way in Spring Season Opener

MAUMELLE, Ark. (3/12/24) – The WBU men's and women's golf teams kicked off the spring season with a strong showing at the Scots Spring Invitational at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.

The men's team finished fourth out of seven teams with a two-round total of 638 (+62).   Tyler Parr led the squad by placing third with a total of 152 (+8).  Dawson McMahan finished in 11th place with a 156 (+12) and Thibau DeLange climbed nine positions on day two to finish in 17th place with a total of 164 (+13).

Curren Bounds turned in a two-day total of 165 (+21) to finish 19th as an individual.

Kendra Harness finished second place on the women's side, totaling a 167 (+23).  Leslie Hill finished in sixth place with a two-round total of 174 (+30), and Grace Woody rounded out the squad by finishing tied for seventh with a 187 (+43).

WBU golf will pick back up next week at the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Ark.  The two day meet will begin Monday, March 18 and conclude Tuesday, March 19.
