Harness Sets Program-Low Scoring Mark in WBU Fall Invitational

KENNETT, Mo. (9/10/24) – Kendra Harness set a new single-round scoring record for the Williams Baptist University women's golf program this week as the team opened the season at the WBU Fall Invitational in Kennett, Mo. on Sept. 9 & 10.

Harness led the way for the Lady Eagles with a two-round total of 153, which was good for a third place individual finish.  Harness' second round score of 72 set a new single-round low at Williams Baptist, topping Emma French's 73 from the Redhawk Classic in 2019.

Grace Woody finished 10th overall with a two-round score of 168, jumping up one spot into the top 10 between day one and day two.

Dreama Morrow finished 20th with a two-round total of 203 in her collegiate debut, including a 99 in her second round, and Kelby Smith finished 21st with a final score of 234.

As a team, WBU finished third in the event with a final team score of 758.  

The Lady Eagles will continue the fall slate in the Lyon College Fall Invite in Melbourne, Ark. on Sept. 23 and 24.
