Harness, Bounds Sweep AMC Golfer of the Week Honors

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (4/21/25) – Williams Baptist University golfers Kendra Harness and Curren Bounds were named the American Midwest Conference Women's and Men's Golfers of the Week for their performances at the MBU Spring Invitational last week, the conference office announced Monday morning.

Harness led the Lady Eagles with a third place individual finish, out-pacing all other AMC competitors in the event.  Harness carded a two-round total of 165.

Curren Bounds finished tied for fourth in the individual leaderboard, tied with teammate Tyler Parr.  The Jonesboro, Ark. native posted a total score of 150, leading all AMC golfers in the tournament.  Bounds and Parr led the Eagles to a third place team finish in the event.

Next, the Eagles will wrap up the 2025 campaign at the AMC Golf Championships.  The women's team will compete on Apr. 28-29, and the men will take the course on May 5-6 at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne, Ark.
