WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams women's soccer team earned their first win of the 2022 season with a 2-1 win over the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (UHSP) Eutectics on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Eagles wasted no time scoring when Abby Nipper slotted home a pass from Livvie Campbell just two and half minutes into the game. They doubled their lead in the 23rd minute when Laura Biagioni kicked the ball in the net after there was chaos in front of the goal after a corner kick.
UHSP was able to get a goal back in the 50th minute. From their the pressure was on the Lady Eagles to hold on to their lead, which they were able to do.
Thayane Leal played the game in the goal for the Lady Eagles and collected three saves.

The Lady Eagles travel to Fulton, Mo. for a matchup against William Woods on Saturday, Oct. 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
