COLUMBIA, Mo. (11/3/23) – The Williams Baptist University women's soccer team lost to No. 5 Columbia 10-0 in the quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference Championship tournament on Friday.
The Cougars jumped out in front with a goal in the ninth minute off the foot of Abigail Logan-Ritz and added to their lead less than a minute later on another goal by Logan-Ritz. Columbia added two more goals in the 13th and 14th minutes to push the advantage to 4-0.
By halftime the Cougars added five more goals and held a 9-0 lead. They would add another in the second half to set the final.
For Williams, Kerrigan Kinsey had four saves in goal.
