MCKENZIE, Tenn.  (9/20/24) – The Williams Baptist University women's soccer team lost on the road against Bethel on Friday evening by the final score of 5-0.

The Wildcats found the game's first score in the 20th minute of the match.  Eagles goalkeeper Gracielee Edwards fought for eight saves in the first half to keep the advantage at one, sending the Lady Eagles into the locker room down 1-0.

Bethel went on to score four more times in the second half.  WBU was unable to find a rhythm offensively, falling 5-0.

Williams will be back on the field Tuesday, Sept. 24 to wrap up non-conference play against Freed-Hardeman in Henderson, Tenn.  Kick-off is slated for 5 p.m.
