Coleman, Mittag Lead Eagles at Little Rock Invitational
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.. (4/16/23) – The Williams Baptist University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Little Rock Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock over the weekend.
Tucker Coleman finished second in the men's discus throw with a toss of 39.51m (129'7) to pace the squad.
Madison Mittag also turned in a top three finish in the women's javelin throw with a 30.92m (101'5) mark.
Kiasia Burns set new personal bests in the 100 meter and 200 meter races with times of 13.59 and 28.53 respectively. Ty Gramling, Karlis Smith, and Logan Jackson all set new career bests in the 400 meter race. Gramling finished with a time of 54.16, Jackson finished with a 59.53, and Jackson finished with a time of 1:01.76. Smith also turned in a 3.40m in the pole vault for a new PR. Allyson Harvey set a new personal best in the triple jump with a 10.78m mark. Calista Christian turned in a new personal top throw in the javelin with a 22.36m toss. Kady Greer rounded out the personal records with a 36.44m throw in the javelin.
