WBU Picked Sixth in AMC Preseason Women's Cross Country Poll

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (8/29/24) – The Williams Baptist University women's cross country team was picked to finish sixth in the American Midwest Conference preseason poll released on Thursday.

The Lady Eagles received 29 points in the poll, sitting behind UHSP, Cottey, Columbia, William Woods, and Missouri Baptist.  WBU did not receive any first place votes.

Williams finished sixth in the AMC Championship Meet last season, with an average finish time of 34:40.

Eagles Cross Country will kick off the season on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Lyon College Invitational in Batesville, Ark.
